A Many man was sentenced to almost 16 years in prison on Monday after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in Sabine Parish, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

A Many man was sentenced to almost 16 years in prison on Monday after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in Sabine Parish, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Cassius L. Medlock, 32, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote in Shreveport to the prison term, as well as four years of supervised release.

Medlock had been stopped for speeding in August 2014, and officers found more than 193 grams of cocaine base and marijuana in the vehicle he was driving that also had six children in it, according to the release. He pleaded guilty in November 2014.
